S'Aranjassa is a locality with its limits marked by the villages of Es Pil·larí, Sant Jordi and Sa Casa Blanca, next to the aeroport of Son San Joan. S'Aranjassa also has good road communication with Palma thanks to the motorway Palma-Llucmajor and to the number 31 of the EMT bus company. S’Aranjassa had in the year 2007 a population of 879 inhabitants, which explains its peaceful and tranquil character.

The Bay of Palma is the geographical element that has mostly influenced the city, not only for the multiple touristic and industrial activities which take place but also for the sports ones. It is possible to do the majority of water sports, especially sailing. In these types of sports, several Mallorcans have stood out who compete in the World Championhips and the Olympic Games. There are various clubs for the practice of these sports, the most outstanding of them being the Real Club Náutico de Palma, Escuela de vela Calanova and Club Náutico de Portitxol, amongst others.

S'Aranjassa is a place with an enormous amount of tranquillity and has a traditional character de forma traditional, but without going without the comforts of the capital as Palma is only a few minutes away. S'Aranjassa is a perfect place for a family or a couple to set up home.
