Pòrtol is to be found on a hill, between Sa Cabaneta and Santa Maria del Camí and is famous in Mallorca for the craft of earthenware products particularly pots for cooking. This locality celebrates two important festivities, one is the Mare de Dèu del Carme on the 16th of July and the other is Sant Marçal the 30th of June, when the entire municipality of Marratxi celebrates this day.
