The South, where Palma, Lluchmayor and Santanyi are located, possesses the perfect infrastructure for vacations and those moments of leisure during the summer in Majorca. The same can be said in the Eastern areas such as Artá, Manacor & Felanitx, and the Northern area where Muro, Pollensa, Alcudia & Santa Margarita are located. Their beaches are usually sandy, some have large hotels of a varied star rating on them, but all with excellent services and qualities such as Arenal, Puerto de Alcudia, Can Picafort, Porto Cristo, Cala Millor & Puerto de Pollensa. The Serra de Tramuntana lays across the Western area of Majorca, thus giving that area a completely different morphology to the rest of the Island. The magnificence of the mountain is emphasized by the swell of the sea at its base. Here are places such as Deià, Valldemossa, Sóller & Banyalbufar renowned for their picture postcard locations, not only for their incomparable beauty but also for their ideal tourist infrastructures, for spending your leisure time during the summer in Majorca.
If there is an outstanding factor in Majorca it is the sun, sea and sandy beaches.
