The coast of Illetes has a variety of coves and three small islands: Sa Caleta, Sa Torre and S'Estenedor or des Pas which is what give the name to the zone Ses Illetes which means little islands. Facing the bay the remains of a military fort can be found from the XIX century and a watchtower which was built to warn by the local inhabitants by signals of any dangers to the coast of Calviá.
