Guns N Roses perform at Mallorca on July 22

The chords of ‘Sweet Child of Mine’ and ‘November Rain’ will transport an entire generation of adolescents from the late 80s and early 90s to a parallel universe which will materialize the 22 July in Palma, the universe of the concerts of Guns N’ Roses, the mythical band of Axl Rose and Slash.

The European tour of this American band includes another 29 concerts: the Majorcan one will close the continental tour after the last but one concert in the festival of the ‘Costa de Fuego’, in Benicàssim, 2 days earlier. These two are the only ones to take place in Spain.

The career of Guns began with the hard rock of the 80s but ends up defining, to a great extent, the classical Rock and Roll of the 90s. Two of the main works of the genre were published: Appetite for Destruction (1987) and the two volumes of the colossal Use Your Illusion (1991).

After years of bad taste statements through the media and some skirmish in court, the singer managed to retain the name of the group alone. Actual facts about Guns N’ Roses include its inclusion in this year’s Hall of Fame along with other legendary artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Faces or The Beastie Boys, thanks to a ceremony which was held on the 14th April of this year.
