Cala Blava is an urbanization which belongs to the municipality of Llucmajor situated on the southern coast of Mallorca next to the Urbanización de Bellavista and Son Verí Nou. It stands out in the summer season for its beach called Cala Mosca, but it is better known as the beach of Cala Blava. Very near, in the square named the Plaza México, the only bar in Cala Blava can be found, Bar Cala Blava which imparts tennis and swimming classes for different levels. The festivities of Cala Blava are celebrated from the 11th of August to the 30th of August. These are a number of sporting activities, theatre, entertainment for children and, last but not least, a vervain (a typical festival dance).
